Got the chance to link up with NOSAJ THING x DAITO MANABE at Williamsburg Music Hall on their NO REALITY TOUR. The show is an audio/visual experience that uses augmented reality, 3D scanning, and motion capture technology. They just got off the plane from Coachella and headed straight to the venue for soundcheck. As I got to the venue, everyone was busy setting up. The crew plugging away on their computers, looking at complex programs, and glimpses of visuals began to pop up. I started to hear the music playing in the background as they made sure everything worked correctly.

As the crowd began showing up the energy started to build. They we’re getting ready on the side stage making sure all the motion trackers were working correctly. When the time was right, everyone looked at each other and walked on stage.
The show was captivating and you could see the reaction on the crowd’s faces. I’ve never seen anything like this in a live setting, so I started running around catching clips of the performance. The vibe was right and after the show you could overhear people trying to figure out how they pulled it off. Cheers to the NOSAJ team!
